The Gift of Giving {Gift Basket Design}

I was a gift giving machine this year {I love giving gifts} and decided to start making gift baskets, which I am now adding to my resume! I got such great feedback, I just might have to make gift baskets every year.  

I went all out on this one for my best friend Laura! Her and her husband bought their first home, so I knew I needed to include "for the home" items. The tub is from Target, along with a few items from the Threshold collection: Pitcher & Gravy Boat. The paper table runner from Paper Source was the inspiration along with these paper place mats, "Live the life you've imagined" sign, and monogram stationary. She LOVED it!

These gift baskets for my co-workers & friends included Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka, Harry & David White Chocolate Martini Mix & White Chocolate Covered Star Pretzels, Handmade Felt Mistletoe from West Elm along with their glitter bird ornament clips. I also included Martini Glasses from Crate & Barrel and a beautiful tray I fell in love with at Target. They were a hit!

Thanksgiving in Idaho {Travel}

This year for Thanksgiving, all of us kids went to Twin Falls, Idaho to spend the week with my my in-laws! Talk about a much needed vacation full of relaxation, good family time, wine, amazing food, black friday shopping, movies, and spending the day in Sun Valley. We all had a great time!

A Sneak Peek at Baby Noah {Photography}

My good friends, Nick and Emily Hansen had a beautiful baby boy, baby Noah. We have been anticipating this arrival for quite some time and I'm so happy I got to meet him and photograph him today. He is such a sweetheart, here's a sneak peek:

DIY Artwork {Interior Design}

You don't have to be an artist to create a work of art. I needed artwork for my toilette area in my master bathroom and needed something quick and easy, yet modern and stylish. I took an old canvas that I painted years ago and haven't used recently, and painted over it with a charcoal water based paint. Once it was dry I sporadically placed round silver stickers I purchased at paper-source.com {one of my fav stores EVER}. To make them stick and stay attached, I sprayed the entire thing with an adhesive and Voila... DIY artwork!
